OGM/EGM 2021 Participation - Preventive Guidelines on COVID 19

CIA. DE FERRO LIGAS DA BAHIA - FERBASA S.A. (B3: FESA3 / FESA4) ("FERBASA" or "Company"), herby informs that, due to the current situation related to COVID-19 and the proximity of the Ordinary and Extraordinary General Meeting - OGM/EGM, that which will take place on April 20, 2021, at 10:00 am (Brasília time), at the Company‘s headquarters, Estrada de Santiago, s/nº, Pojuca, BA, there will be protective and preventive measures to access to the company‘s facilities. For this purpose, participants will be required to observe some preventive procedures that are part of the Company‘s Medical and Health Protocols, namely: (i) mandatory use of a protective mask, available in the occasion, at all times inside Ferbasa’s facilities; (ii) the minimum distance of 1.5 meters between people must be observed in all facilities of the Company; (iii) all visitors must undergo a symptom screening and clinical analysis carried out by Ferbasa‘s Medical Service; (iv) shareholders and / or their legal representatives who have had flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days will be unable to enter Ferbasa‘s premises; (v) depending on the clinical evaluation, the Ferbasa Medical Service may request the participant to perform the rapid test for IgG and IgM antibodies, assessing the contagion of COVID-19 - the test will be carried out at the Ferbasa Medical Center. It is important to note that, if an active case of COVID-19 is detected, the shareholder and / or his legal representative will not be able to enter the Company‘s facilities, being unable to participate in person at the Ordinary and Extraordinary General Meeting; (vii) the participant will be asked to perform hand hygiene before joining the Company and whenever using any object that is not part of his or her personal belongings, using, for this purpose, alcohol gel available in dispensers or washing hands with water and soap; (viii) all participants will be instructed to respect the respiratory etiquette in all company facilities, according to the widely publicized Health Protocol.

The Company reiterates its commitment to the best corporate governance practices and the compliance with all measures to prevent, control and mitigate the transmission risks of COVID-19 in any and all facilities of the Company, strictly following the general guidelines of the Ordinance Joint No. 20, of June 18, 2020, as well as the restrictions and guidelines determined by the State and Municipal Decrees in force.
